I grew up in Portalas, NM. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Exercise Sports Science from Wayland Baptist University in 2019. I graduated from ENMU in 2023 with my Master's of Clinical Counseling. I am a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in Sports Psychology and Mental Performance Training.
With my background in sports psychology, I wanted to help people become stronger, physically and mentally, during the rehabilitation process. Injuries can be a major challenge for some people, and helping patients build that confidence by helping my team provide the best support possible is what I love about working here. I operate in both the background and the foreground of our clinic. I handle day-to-day operations that allow the clinic to run at its most efficient rate so our staff can provide the highest quality of care. I also assist our PT staff with patients' exercise routines, handle E-Stim set-ups for patients, and provide a warm, welcoming environment for our patients, new and returning. The most rewarding part of the job is seeing patients make breakthroughs in recovery, especially after a mental or physical setback.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, my family, and my friends. I also enjoy playing with my dog, Oakley, getting outside, and cooking. My go-to foods are Lucky Energy Red Ryder Punch, sushi, and Hi-Chew candy.
